SUMMARY : In 1977, the City of Angels is facing a wave of savage and inexplicable murders, driven by madness. The police quickly turn their suspicions to a young man: Jerry Zipkin. To prove his innocence, he, aided by his friend Alicia Sweeney, investigates and discovers that the various murderers have in common the fact that they are bald and that they attended Stanford University ten years earlier. At that time, they took an experimental drug called Blue Sunshine, whose devastating effects are delayed. Faced with this threat, will Jerry be able to clear his name before it's too late?

ABOUT THE FILM : A year after Night of the Giant Worms, Jeff Lieberman (Survival) directs The Blue Ray, a strange film flirting with several genres, mainly horror, fantasy and thriller. Within this atypical work steeped in mystery and madness, the director has assembled a select cast, including actor and future director Zalman King (Galaxy of Terror), Deborah Winters (Tarantula: The Freighter of Death), Robert Walden (Audrey Rose) and Brion James (Blade Runner, Flesh and Blood).
