SUMMARY : In a 19th-century Central European country, Baron Frankenstein, assisted by Dr. Charles Marshall, attempts to create the perfect man from corpses obtained by grave robbers. The scientist believes he has succeeded one stormy night, but the brain used for the transplant proves damaged. Once animated, the creature kills Frankenstein and flees. Tania, the Baron's daughter, who has recently arrived at the castle, decides to continue her father's work with the help of Charles. Meanwhile, the creature massacres villagers in the surrounding countryside.

ABOUT THE FILM : Filmed in the early 1970s, Lady Frankenstein is one of the most deviant adaptations of Mary Shelley's novel. Boasting a star-studded international cast, including Joseph Cotten (Vampire Baron), Paul Müller (Dracula the Nights), and Rosalba Neri (The Pursuit of Pleasure), the film was directed by Mel Welles , best known for his acting career (Little Shop of Horrors).
