SUMMARY : In New York City during the 1980s, Margaret, a model for underground magazines, occupies the top floor of a skyscraper with Adrian, a new-wave singer. The two young women are surrounded by a whole host of misfits who, like them, are addicted to heroin and sex. Their lifestyle has attracted a race of tiny aliens, whose spaceship has landed on the roof of their building. They feed on opium, more precisely on the opiate cells found in the human brain at the moment of orgasm.

ABOUT THE FILM : Released confidentially in France in June 1984, LIQUID SKY (the name given to the pure heroin) is an atypical work that breaks new ground. At the time, the film received a mixed reception from audiences confused by its avant-garde look and music video aesthetic. Focused on delirium and derision, LIQUID SKY also denounces the world of fashion. Finally, regarding the casting, we should note the performances of Anne Carlisle (THE BLOODY DEAD END), Brad Rijn (SPECIAL EFFECTS) and Stephen Lack (SCANNERS).
