SUMMARY : In Egypt - While exploring an unknown tomb in a pyramid, archaeologist George Hacker accidentally releases an evil entity. His action immediately triggers a curse that blinds him. He then returns to New York with his wife Emily and his daughter Suzie, who wears a strange amulet, which a woman had given her before disappearing. Back in their apartment, the Hacker family is plagued by paranormal phenomena and little Suzie seems possessed by a demonic spirit.

ABOUT THE FILM : Shot shortly after The Ripper in New York, in the same city, Manhattan Baby is a pure horror film in which Lucio Fulci multiplies the gore scenes that made his reputation. It features American actor Christopher Connelly (The Bronx Warriors), as well as Cinzia de Ponti (Bianco Apache) and Carlo De Mejo (Terror Express). As for the musical score, it is by Fabio Frizzi, Lucio Fulci's regular composer, and author (among others) of the soundtracks of The Walled-In Alive and The Beyond.
