SUMMARY : Rome, 1970s – While Sergio Morazzi, known as Monnezza, makes a living from petty theft and precarious jobs, his twin brother, Vincenzo, nicknamed the Hunchback, is a major criminal, returning to the capital after a stint in prison in Corsica. Vincenzo plans to rob an armored van, with the help of accomplices including Milo Dragovic and Perrone. But they decide to eliminate the Hunchback once the robbery is complete. The gangsters think they have succeeded, but Vincenzo manages to escape through the sewers. From then on, he has only one idea in mind: revenge!
ABOUT THE FILM: After playing The Hunchback in Special Brigade and Monnezza (aka Dustbin in the French version) in Death on Hold and The Executioner, Tomás Milián takes on both roles this time in Gang Buster, directed by Umberto Lenzi (The Price of Fear). This poliziottesco skillfully mixes action and humor, benefiting from the talent of Tomás Milián (The Designated Victim), here accompanied by recurring actors from Italian crime fiction: Luciano Catenacci (The Price of Fear) and Salvatore Borgese (Big Racket). We also note a musical score by the talented Franco Micalizzi (Operation Breakers).
