SUMMARY : The successive murders of an insurance company detective, then an excavator driver, lead Commissioner Luca Peretti to reopen an unsolved case. At the time, a little girl, Stefania Moroni, was kidnapped, then murdered, and her body was never found. With the help of a schoolteacher, Paola Rossi, Peretti takes over the investigation, determined to identify the culprit. Thus begins, for the police officer, a race against time to find the last clues and solve the enigma.
