SUMMARY : 1970s, in the Spanish Basque Country – Ruth Miller lives on her property with her stepdaughter, Chris, who is psychologically unstable following a rape. Ruth, meanwhile, suffers from neurosis after being abandoned by her husband. The two women live in a climate of fear, especially since, for several months, the region has been the scene of a series of murders. During a stormy night, a vagrant, Barney Webster, comes to take refuge in the Millers' barn. After a moment of hesitation, Ruth hires him as a handyman. Very quickly, Barney begins to play a game of seduction with the two women. What if he were the killer?

ABOUT THE FILM : Halfway between a psychological thriller and a giallo, Chris Miller's The Corruption is a rare work, broadcast confidentially in a few cinemas in France upon its release, and distributed in certain video stores in a truncated version under the title Blind Terror. So, with this Blu-ray release, here is the opportunity to (re)discover, in its full version, a film giving pride of place to suspense, directed by Juan-Antonio Bardem (The Mysterious Island), and starring Jean Seberg (Breathless), Marisol (Blood Wedding) and Barry Stokes (The Zombie from Outer Space).
